Tool palette
When you first open LiveCode, the edit pointer tool is selected and active by default. When the edit tool is active you can create and edit objects on your card. By switching to the run browse tool, you can check to see if what you have created works. Switching back to the pointer tool will then let you make changes and modifications.
The shortcut for the pointer tool is CTRL+9.
